We met in the summer of 2012 on the beach in Seaside FL. We were both working summer jobs—I worked at a restaurant and he was a a beach chair attendant. We talked on the beach during my lunch break (after I worked up the courage to walk to his “beach hut”) and he later came to the restaurant I was working at to ask for my number. Our own meet-cute.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding day is of course my favorite but also our first Halloween together in 2013. It was Halloween night in our college town, we were dressed in risqué costumes at a popular bar in Tallahassee (go noles) and I lost my wallet. I was so upset but he consoled me and said everything would be fine. It was the first night we said “I love you” I was instantly happy and no longer cared about the wallet. Over a decade later we make it a point to say “I love you” multiple times a day every day.
What would you do with $20,000?We would travel! We’ve just recently had the opportunity to start traveling and there’s so much more to see! We thrive off each other’s excitement and energy of experiencing all of life’s adventures!
