Connect How did your love story begin?

It’s the epitome of a Gen-Z love story where we matched on dating apps and Pruthvi would always slide up on my Instagram stories although he’d never actually be flirting with me. We never considered each other as a serious option until 6 months later when he posted about his birthday on Instagram. I remember thinking he was a lot cuter in those pictures than I remember and just commented “happy birthday :)” on his post. He DM’ed me 3 hours later asking me if I was single and it’s all history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory we’ve shared as a couple would probably be the first time we took a trip together for our 1 year anniversary. We had been so hungry we ate our giant bowls of pho in 15 minutes and then had driven to the museum we had planned to go to. Our lack of sleep and full bellies had caught up with each other so we just took a nap in the car for an hour, woke up refreshed and had a great time at the museum. It’s so mundane and silly looking back but we really are best friends first.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have a lot of student debt and loans between us and it’s put a pause on a lot of our future plans including getting married and moving in together. $20,000 would change our lives in that we’d go from survival mode and just trying to pay our debt off to being able to plan for marriage and starting a family.
