We met in 1969 at my cousin’s wedding and dated for about 6 months. I had just turned 18 and Guy was 23. He wanted to marry me but I wasn’t ready I was going to college so we went our separate ways. I was married for fifty years and had looked for Guy in the past but never contacted him. Guy sent a message to my brother through Facebook not knowing he had passed away six years ago. I looked him up on Facebook in October of 2023 saw his message and said so you found me
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many great memories. On our second date we were on the beach when I told Guy I was falling in love with him. We continued dating and in February of 2024 we took our first vacation in Florida. In June we traveled to Paris to a family wedding. On February 14th his birthday Guy proposed. Our best memory was our wedding on June 8, 2025. The ceremony and celebration with our family and friends is unforgettable
