Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began when my amazing boyfriend was casually scrolling TikTok, and a video of me with butterflies around me popped up on his screen—he swears it was divine timing. He fell in love and he sent me a DM. When I didn’t see it on tiktok (oops), he tracked me down on Instagram—because when you know, you go for it! From that moment, two Jesus-loving hearts became one. Now we laugh nonstop, pray together, and make amazing memories by each other's side.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our very first date. From the moment we met, everything just clicked—every word, every laugh felt effortless. Then out of nowhere, it started to rain. We had no umbrella, but without hesitation, he took off his hat and placed it over my head to keep my hair dry. I looked at him, soaked and smiling, and felt something real. That small, sweet gesture said everything. Despite the rain, or maybe because of it, we knew we had something special from the very start.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d pour into the life we’re building together—starting with saving for our first home, a place full of love, faith, and laughter. We’d plan a family trip here in Florida, because time with our loved ones means everything to us. I’d also use part of it to buy supplies and resources for my classroom—my little learners deserve the best. And of course, we would love to buy a place of our own to call home with our little dog Oreo.
