We’ve known each other all of our lives and have been married 54 years. We still enjoy each other and love traveling together.
We would like to thank you for supporting Evie and Franklin in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
When I was about 5 years old and she was 3 or 4, her grandparents lived next door to my home. She would come over and play. I was always playing cowboys and Indians . She had pigtails, so she was the Indian. I would chase her down and put her in my jail. Which was actually and old water well my Father was gradually filling up. She couldn’t get out and would yell for my Mom to help her escape. We didn’t actually date until her senior year in High School, but we were good friends all those years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We spent a week in the Florida Keys with another couple. Rented a nice condo on the Gulf of Mexico and a sailboat. We went lobstering and sailed out to Sombrero Key and snorkeled. The food, friendship and adventure was memorable.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take our two daughters and their families on a trip with lots of great food and adventure.
