We met via Hinge circa 2018 in SF, and our first date was at a sticky dive bar called Northstar, which we still love! Kevin was sweaty cuz he was a bit nervous, but it was cute. We talked and shot pool for HOURS and ended up wasted. I don’t remember this, but apparently when it came time to go home, Kevin called me an Uber, and I was like do you wanna come with me ;). He was thinking, I shouldn’t…but then he changed his mind and went to get in, and I said PSYCH and slammed the door in his face!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of two: 1) picking up our tiny potato French bulldog, Lola, and then her immediately vomiting all over me on the 3 hr car ride home (buyers remorse at the time, hilarious in retrospect), or 2) trudging knee-deep hand-in-hand through flooding waters during a thunderstorm in Sayulita in post-wedding attire because a van wouldn’t come retrieve us.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d upgrade our wedding to a premium open bar (for our EPIC guests, we love you); buy a microwave so I can eat Kevin’s homemade burritos at my grad program; throw in an XL bone for Lola; and put the rest toward a down payment on our first home. $20k = the dream.
