I met Gloria in 1995 and instantly we became friends. We started dating in 1997 and married in 2016. She passed away in 2021.
We would like to thank you for supporting Edwyna & Gloria in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We started out as best friend and she had a problem with reading and I became her tutor. It was so exciting to hear someone reading on a ninth grade level excel in her reading and comprehensive of what she was reading. So we begin to share stories of our childhood and it grew from there.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Gloria began driving for this company they drove new buses all around the country and I took many trips with her. My favorite was from Georgia to California.
What would you do with $20,000?I would share some with her granddaughters and use the rest to take that last road trip we never got a chance to take because of her illness and the pandemic. From Georgia to Montana; South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota and Alaska it would complete the journey.
