How did your love story begin?

We met at a wedding. His friends whom lived in the same apt building as he , invited him . The bride was a work friend of mine. 10/11/97 . We were seated at the same table. Elvis was playing. I said you must dance w me the next Elvis song they play. He replied Sure I will dance with you! I will dance all night long! And we did just that. The evening flew by in a flash. He asked for my number and called me a few days later for a date. We walked to the car and he kissed me. It was a sweet kiss. 💋

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We met in Oct and our first Valentines Day together we went to Niagara Falls . It was bitter cold . 🥶 I had never been there and I soo loved it! We gambled in The casino. I won of course. That weekend we were at the mall and he took me into the jewelry store to seal the deal. I said No way! It’s far too soon to discuss marriage and life commitments. Wait. Patience is a virtue. Fast forward to my Birthday 5/5. Mother’s Day weekend. There were tons of floral deliveries that day. NONE for me.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would feel very blessed if chosen. Jim and I have gone through some hard trials of our marriage and faith during our time together, but as Elton John Says we’re still standing! lol We would definitely take a romantic trip someplace just the two of us. God is great! find the positive in every situation! We married almost two years To the day we met. We will be celebrating 28 years as a couple 26 married on 10/16/25 AMEN 🙏
