Emily: 2005 I made a joke in a museum and his cousin immediately said “you’re going to marry my cousin one day.” She called him right then and said “I met your wife!” I drove to visit and we had a great time but we were just 18, lived 4 hours apart, and each had consuming life issues going on. 18yrs later we reconnected on IG and were married 2 years later. Donny: With stupid fun videos we’d make and send each other. When we started dating she moved here to stay for a month but never left.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Emily: His proposal. I’d went home for a week. During that week he bought a cabin in the woods and a ring. When I came back he proposed on the front porch then told me it’s ours. Don: I had a horrible day at work. My OCD for no reason had been screaming at me all day that we weren’t gonna work out. So I went to see her in desperation and she looked up at me with the sweetest warm smile and big hug. Instantly went from hell to a peace I’d never known.
What would you do with $20,000?Get our home ready for a baby once her health is okay’d by the doctors.
