Our love story began on wheels — quite literally — when we were introduced by our mutual best friend during a casual skating meetup. What started as friendly glides around the rink quickly turned into late-night conversations, laughter echoing under streetlights, and a rhythm that felt effortless. Our connection deepened on road trips to New Orleans, where the city's soulful music and vibrant art scenes mirrored the growing color and depth of our bonds, with shared playlists and church services.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our most treasured memories as a couple began with a passport stamp and a sky full of possibility. It was our first trip out of the country together, and her first time ever on a plane. Nervous fingers gripped the armrest during takeoff. I gently reached over, offering a calming squeeze and a soft smile that said, “You’re safe with me.” We have been catching flights and feelings ever since.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would be a game-changer for our home renovation plans, especially for the two spaces that matter most to us — the master bedroom and the kitchen. In the master bedroom, the funds would allow us to finally create the peaceful, cozy retreat we’ve been dreaming of. We could replace outdated flooring with warm hardwood or soft carpet, add built-in storage to reduce clutter, and in the kitchen, the heart of our home, the renovation would mean functionality meets beauty.
