Connect How did your love story begin?

We met when we were just out of high school and we became the best of friends. We shared laughs, trusted secrets, and many great memories as friends for 8 years. We went to rival high schools and share many friends and experiences in common, this is a source of much of the fun and laughs that we continue to enjoy together to this day. We finally took our relationship to another level in 1995 and decided to get married. Our friends and family were very surprised, and the rest is history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have raised our children together over many years and we now finally find ourselves empty nesters! Our favorite memory shared as a couple is when we went on our very first tropical vacation without children. It was so fun to swim in the ocean and experience new things together- just the two of us. We were like kids again! We explored Mayan ruins and swam in a Cenote. The highlight was ziplining into the Cenote together!!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to be able to do some updates to our family home. The main thing we want to do, is to add a second bathroom to our finished basement. This is because we want to be better prepared when any of our 7 children and numerous grandchildren (one great-grandchild) come for visits. We love having the whole family together for the holidays and summer fun celebrations. It is kind of hard to do this comfortably with one bathroom! Lol
