Sarah was hired to manage Dan’s office at his fast growing business. Neither one of them were in a place to be looking for love, neither one of them interested or attracted to each other. They were each just surviving in their own lives, silently. Then they started becoming friends through problem solving, designing together and sharing advice about raising kids. They unexpectedly became best friends. Many months later their brains fell in love, creating deep soul and physical attraction.

We discussed with our 4 children that we really liked eachother as more than friends and wanted to spend more time together, wanting them to be okay with our courtship. After receiving their blessings we went on our first date to a local music venue - Liberty Tree Farm for the Pursuit of Happiness July 4th Celebration. We danced and laughed all night. Dan never danced much before in his life, but turns out he is a wonderful dance partner. We acted like giddy fools all night under the stars.

Our responsible sides would say: “Pay off debt”. The only thing we know how to do is work, and it seems working harder doesn’t ever make us more money. We like to share what we have, but it’s hard to do when you don’t have much. The better we take care of ourselves the easier and more opportunities we have to also take care of others. This is something that took us too many years to learn. With leftover money it would be nice to learn how to grow it so we can continue sharing what we have.
