Have you ever heard the song "The greatest love story" by Lanco? It, almost perfectly, is the story of Bob and I. With the exception that it was about 25 years later instead of 4. We dated for a couple years in our early 20’s. Got engaged and moved in together. Life happened and we split up. We each got married to someone else who had affairs. We found each other again 25 years later. We finally got married and blended our families together. Our tragedies made us and our marriage stronger.

Our honeymoon. We decided for our honeymoon that we would get in the car and decide where to go as we went. We headed east from Michigan and traveled through 9 states. Picked a hotel wherever we were at the end of each day. Seen a lot of famous landmarks. But our favorite was Maine. The first time my husband seen the ocean. The sky was unbelievably beautiful. We danced on the side of the road just because we felt like it. It felt like we had the world in our hands. It was romantic and fabulous.

Of course we would pay off some bills. We have a lot of those. Pay off student loans. Money is tight and our kids need a lot of help. My mother in law is actively dying of cancer and my father in law needs assistance. We would love to be able to help them too. Family is the most important thing. Life is hard and we need to support each other as much as we can. Both emotionally and, if we can, help financially in some ways too. It would improve things so many ways.
