we met in the marine corps in 2019, got married 2 months later, & have been inseparable ever since ((:
We would like to thank you for supporting Ashton & Kim in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
we met in 2019 during training in the Marine Corps to become air traffic controllers. we were both there for around 6 months, but only started talking 2 weeks before Ashton was leaving to his new duty station in California. we hit it off so well, i decided to put down the west coast to hopefully be stationed with him. we ended up being stationed a half hour apart and spent every weekend and wednesday together. a couple months later, we were married!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?getting married during covid (: we originally planned a date and set up an appointment at the court house, since our families were on the other side of the country. THEN COVID BROKE OUT AND THEY CANCELLED OUR APPOINTMENT!!!! two days before the date we picked, we got an email saying they set up a plastic box in the middle of the grass at the court house and we were able to still get married if we wanted. it was only us and it only lasted probably 10 minutes, but 10/10 best experience(:
What would you do with $20,000?we really want to buy land in the middle of nowhere, become self sufficient, live off the land, and start our family (:
